New Scouts get 3 free trial nights to come along, get a feel for the group and decide if Scouting is right for them — no commitment, no payment needed upfront.
After the 3 nights, if you'd like to continue, you'll need to register and pay the annual membership fee through Scouts Victoria.
Three things to do in your first week.
Stack is how we send all updates, event reminders, permission forms and announcements. If you're not on Stack, you'll miss important information.
Terrain is Scouts Australia's official system for recording attendance, participation and progression toward badges and milestones. Once you're registered as a member, your leader will help you log in.
Our shared Google Drive folder has everything in one place — packing lists, meal planners, run sheets, event details and more. Bookmark it now so you always know where to find things.

After your 3 trial nights, membership is registered and paid through Scouts Victoria. The annual fee covers your Scout's registration, insurance, and program costs across the whole year.
